# Custom Engineered Composite Decks & Structural Additions in Prescott Valley, AZ Premium Outdoor Living Engineered to Outlast the High-Desert Elements. At Apex Building & Development LLC, we design and build custom residential additions, structural remodels, and high-performance composite decks engineered specifically for the unique climate of Northern Arizona. ## Premium Composite Deck Building Traditional wood decks warp under the intense Prescott sun and split during heavy winter freeze-thaw cycles. That is why Apex specializes in low-maintenance composite decking systems. We handle everything from the initial structural framing up to the finished railings and custom staircases. Our builds utilize advanced composite boards that require zero staining, zero painting, and will never splinter. * Built for Regional Snow Loads: Every deck framework is structurally engineered and securely anchored to handle heavy winter snow accumulation safely. * UV-Resistant Performance: We install premium composite brands designed to resist high-altitude fade and heat retention during blistering summer months. * Custom Patio Coverings: Complete your outdoor living setup with seamless covered roofs, patio enclosures, and open-air pergolas. ## Structural Home Additions & Remodeling Need more space but love your current location? As a fully licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor (ROC# B-134572 | ROC# B2-137971), Apex manages high-complexity residential additions from architectural review down to final trim paint. Whether you need a detached guest casita, a spacious master bedroom extension, or a structural wall removal to open up your kitchen layout, our crew delivers clean execution that matches your home's existing aesthetic. ### Proudly Serving the Northern Arizona Tri-City Region Because we focus on quality control and dedicated on-site crew management, Apex limits its active project footprint to a tight local service radius. “I am very pleased with Apex Building and Development. Skip and his crew constructed an RV platform and gravel driveway on my property and the end result was absolutely amazing. Everything he said he was going to do, prior to him beginning this project, was completed. I happened to be home on my lunch break when the inspectors showed up and they were very pleased and overwhelmed by the attention to detail that Skip put into this project. They inspected and re-inspected and they walked away very satisfied with what they saw. I would definitely recommend Skip for any job!! Thank you Skip, and to your crew, for all your hard work!!”
